A singer, songwriter and guitarist, Alex has performed at outdoor and indoor concerts, art shows, bars, and on cable tv, by himself and also with the groups Poem de Terre, Swyng, Mad Hatter, and Darker Roads. He has performed at the "Busker's Festival" in Kingston as well.

A widely published Canadian writer, Bob MacKenzie has for more than thirty years expressed his art in a multi-media format. Bob considers that all art, originally used in ritual and religion and to express the news and morés of culture, is simply Story.

Cynthia's musical roots are in folk music, traditional music from the British Isles, and the blues. A vocalist who plays flute and guitar, Cynthia performs solo across Southeastern Ontario, in the duo "Cyn & I", and with the band "Lagavulin", and appeared at the 1997 and 1998 Kingston All Folks Festivals.

In 1993 Jim released a thirteen song cassette in 1993 simply titled Solo guitar. In 1990, Jim to released the CD Mezcolanza. He has since been performing relentlessly across Southern Ontario, been interviewed on CBC radio and appeared on several TV shows. November 1998 saw the release of Stories Without Words.

While in his teens in Newfoundland, Justin took up song writing as a way of expressing his emotions. Later, Justin turned to Jazz, Classical and Blues and formed his own bands. Justin now lives in Kingston, Ontario, where his passion is to be in the studio discovering new talent and producing his own music.

I was eleven when John Lennon died. My friend Kelly played guitar and taught me to harmonize. Later, after some success in Karaoke contests, I decided to try to get into a band. I auditioned for Poem de Terre. After about two years with Bob and our friends in Poem de Terre, I decided to try a new challenge: Country Music.

I'm a married mom of 4. I work as a karaoke dj host. I love to sing, and I dont stick myself to one particular style of music. I am just very pleased that I was included in the making of this CD. I will enjoy showing it to my eventual grandchildren over and over again.

From his undergraduate years at York University, Richard developed an appetite for exploring potentially dissonant concepts -- ideas which are still standards in his work and are often explored by other artists today. Richard's distinct images evolve from his very personal concerns about humanity versus nature and humanity versus itself.

Normally, I'm the serious "techie" type, so it's great to work on something more art related. This CD was a chance to work with some very talented musicians and even let me stretch my vocal chords. Recently, too, I was lucky to have a chance to perform live with a group, in a local park.
