untitled poem
by
Bob MacKenzie

Ants on a serpent's egg,
we may crack the shell
With our bolts of Thor -
And where shall we be then?

When this serpent hatches,
Being afflicted,
Will he then doglike
Engulp tormentor tail?

Will this Midgardian
Swallow all, abyss
Before recycling -
Ultimate cannibal?
