sweeney regurgitant

stacks of words and lines
like slim breakfast steaks
without a word of a lie
or metaphor or simile
added to enhance his beef
which much to his surprise
while raw was not read

the classified said let me
make you a nightingale round
noted qualified commentator
editing excess a specialty
free trial first lesson tells
all or nothing more will be
required plus wife excellent
cook contact writer sweeney

on the flat day the poet came
sweeney took him
                             fed him toes
